Embark Behavioral Health is the nation’s leading network of mental health programs for teens and young adults. For their new 24,000 square foot support office in Chandler, they hired PDO to create a colorful space that mimics the warmth of their facilities around the country, while feeling elevated and employee-focused. 

“Our new space was intentionally designed to be a purposeful celebration of our culture and values,” said Alex Stavros, CEO of Embark. “The feel is a cheerful one representing the hope our programs provide struggling families, and the joy and healing we ultimately look to create.”

PDO took inspiration from the Embark’s brand color palette to create a warm, joyful space with pops of color throughout. The colorful accents are balanced with wood tones and warm, textural finishes to ensure the space complements Embark’s youth-oriented facilities while maintaining its own identity. The result is a space that expresses the brand’s culture and vision of promoting joy, healing, and trust.

The client wanted to created a melting pot of color in as a first impression. We were able to successfully achieve this by using white as a background, separation of color, and using neutral building blocks. The result was an eye-catching space that feels fresh and vibrant!
Throughout the space, variations of the clients' company colors were used to wayfind through the space as well as create dramatic frames for rooms, graphics and furniture.
