The Herb Box

When The Herb Box, a beloved local cafe, relocated to a new, larger space just down the street from its original location of over 25 years, they were looking to create an inviting, comfortable space where people could feel instantly at home. PDO helped The Herb Box become just that, adding upscale finishes and lighting while mixing in warm, lived-in textures such as exposed wood trusses, herringbone brick, and vintage decor.

With multiple new areas to work with, including outdoor patio seating, a grab and go coffee area, and event spaces, PDO used a palette of rich colors and materials and thoughtful details to create a casually luxurious experience. The resulting spaces feel both generous and cozy, channeling The Herb Box’s focus on hospitality; all within budget and timeline constraints.
