Press Coffee

When local roaster Press Coffee opened a new location inside the Reserve at San Tan 6 Amenity Center, it was important that they maintain their own brand identity as well as be seamlessly incorporated into the existing Amenity Center design. Having designed the Amenity Center itself, PDO was tasked with blending the two identities. By using Press Coffee’s signature reclaimed barn wood and rolled steel as primary materials, PDO was able to layer in secondary tones and textures from the surrounding space to make it all feel cohesive.

PDO also solved additional logistical challenges for the space, designing it so that the merchandise displays could be secured after hours and giving the client hidden roof access. Even while solving challenges, PDO was able to animate the space with features like the large scale word search wall and custom neon signage. These touches make the space feel unique and engaging even within the lively amenity center.
