Interior designers got the chance to create a brand new space for Cognite, an AI-driven industrial software firm that recently moved its headquarters to Tempe.
The company is on the ninth floor of the Hayden Ferry Lakeside III building at 40 E. Rio Salado Parkway just off Tempe Town Lake. It’s a 10-story Class A office tower with blue glass, aluminum panels, “boat-like edges” and floor to ceiling glass walls. Interior designer Avalyn Zizzo told the Phoenix Business Journal that she helped turn the floor into a mix of hospitable and commercial.
Zizzo works for Phoenix Design One Inc., an interior design firm based in Scottsdale that ranked as the No. 8 largest interior design firm in the Valley, according to Phoenix Business Journal research.
“When you walk in — wow — it feels very rich. It feels very homey. It doesn’t feel like an office. It feels like a hospitality space,” Zizzo said about Cognite’s ninth floor.
